Catalonia

Catalonia is one of the Kingdom of Spain's seventeen autonomous communities, Catalonia comprises four provinces: Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona. In the area of the Mediterranean area summers are dry and hot with sea breezes, and the maximum temperature is around 30 degrees. It only snows frequently in the Pyrenees, and it occasionally snows at lower altitudes, even by the coastline. Spring and autumn are typically when the rain is most frequent, the Pyrenean valleys during the summer months experience storm conditions mainly at a high altitude.

The whole region of Catalonia is rich in history, ancient churches and small villages are to be found more inland from the major cities such as Barcelona or Girona. Barcelona is its capital.

The roads are pretty straight forward and easily accessible because of this it takes roughly 1 hour to get to Barcelona.
